Process

Five phases. Each with a defined output.

Each phase produces a specific set of deliverables. The project does not advance until those deliverables are reviewed and agreed. No phase is left open-ended.

01

Briefing

An initial meeting to establish the brief, review the site, and confirm project scope. No drawings at this stage.

A written brief and confirmed project scope.
02

Concept

Spatial options developed at schematic level—layout, massing, and key adjacencies tested against the brief.

An agreed design direction to carry into development.
03

Development

The agreed scheme developed in full. Material intent, structural coordination, and envelope resolution.

A resolved design ready for documentation.
04

Documentation

A complete drawing set prepared to permit standards. Coordinated with structural and other consultants where required.

A permit-ready drawing set, issued for submission.
05

Construction

Site visits, response to contractor requests, and drawing clarifications through to practical completion.

Technical oversight maintained through the build.

The process is linear and documented. Each phase has a clear end point before the next begins. Fee proposals are issued per phase, not as a single lump sum.
